Part 1 - enjoying peace
Sunday Bible Class
Brother Philip Strong begins the series of "Growing a Church" which addresses this vitally important issue. The facts are these: (1) the early local congregations, as seen especially in the book of Acts, consistently grew; (2) most churches today (local bodies of Christ) are stagnated, if not declining. Certainly, there are notable exceptions, but they are just that- exceptions. This first lesson contains detailed introductory material outlining both the relevancy of the subject, as well as outlining the general parameters of what will and will not be covered in the series.
